By fostering a network of support and philanthropy, the Big GIVE seeks to address critical financial needs and support community-driven projects. Through this initiative, we aim to inspire generosity, strengthen community bonds, and create lasting positive change.
ABOUT THE INITIATIVE
Partner Requirements
Organized by Philanthropic Partners, a standalone organization of local partners dedicated to supporting organizations within Sherman County that have critical financial needs or community-driven projects
PROJECT DEFINITION
PRESENCE
Each partner must identify a specific project or cause they are raising funds for.
ENTRY:
ENGAGEMENT:
Representation is required at all meetings and within the planning process to be listed.
A participation fee of $50 is required.
Partners are responsible for marketing and promoting their specific cause or project.
COMMITTEE STRUCTURE
OVERVIEW COMMITTEE
Tracking progress, managing printing, and providing answers.
GIVING STATION COMMITTEE
Managing drop-off locations, staffing stations, and maintaining contribution binders.
TOTALS COMMITTEE
Keeping the count on the big day and updating the Courthouse Lawn Thermometer.
MARKETING COMMITTEE
Social Media, Newspapers, and coordinating donor rewards with local businesses 6-8 weeks out.
DIRECT IMPACT
Cash/Checks are written directly to the participating partner via Contribution Cards.
